When did you realize you had the gift to write?

At the risk of sounding, I don’t know, conceited or something. i feel like I’ve *always* known I was a decent writer. At 4, it came to me with such ease. By 8th grade I was trying to write a novel. I don’t know if it’s a gift. But it’s always always something that’s been there. Kind of like being right or left handed or. It just is.
