Hi Aliya! I’ve noticed that you and another popular writer have to books finished with seemingly impossible deadlines. I’ve read 5 and 6 weeks after assignment. Where am I getting the idea that you get an advance, and you have, like, a year to deliver?

Good question. I have an unusual case with the Timbaland deadline. The book was first assigned to a different writer who was unable to complete the project. So I came in late but I’m still facing the original deadline. UGH! I’m gonna make it happen though. I hope. Under normal circumstances you would get the first part of your advance and then a year or so to deliver.
